Capricorn Healthcare (“Capricorn”) announced that it closed a transaction with CitizensRx (“Citizens”), a Pharmacy Benefit Management provider. Through its investment, Capricorn will partner with Citizens’ executive team, who will continue to lead the company. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Based in Oak Park, IL, CitizensRx is a full-service Pharmacy Benefit Management provider for public and private companies, as well as health plans. The company provides “unbundled,” modular pharmacy benefit management services, including formulary management, claims processing, rebate administration, and a 67,000-location national pharmacy network.
