Capricorn Healthcare (“Capricorn”) announced that it closed a transaction with Centria Healthcare (“Centria”), a provider of therapy for children with autism and other specialized home-based healthcare services. Through its investment, Capricorn will partner with Centria’s co-founders and executive team, who will continue to lead the company. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Based in Novi, MI, Centria is the largest provider of Applied Behavior Analysis (“ABA”) therapy for children with autism across the State of Michigan. The company has started expanding its ABA business into additional states including Arizona, California, Oregon, New Mexico, Texas and Washington. Centria is also a leading provider of specialized home-based healthcare services including catastrophic injury and rehabilitation care, private duty nursing, and supportive living services. Centria coordinates among multiple disciplines for its rehabilitation services including physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, and respiratory care.
